The Cultural Wellness Center engages people in using culture as resource for taking responsibility for their own health and well-being. We are a cultural knowledge-producing institution that uses community-tested and approved models to acheive our mission of "unleashing the power of citizens to heal themselves and to build community." We work with individuals, communities, families, professionals as well as academic institutions, government agencies, philanthropists, and other non-profits to solve problems caused by individualism, loss of culture and loss of community.

A workshop on the knowledge and skills needed by communities and institutions when partnering to solve the problems of

• Educational Achievement Gaps
• Economic Disparities
• Government Dependency
• Health Disparities

Increase your facilitation, negotiation, advocacy , and listening skills

Develop leadership through self-study and community problem transformation.

Compare the knowledge producing process within communties and institutions.

Learn how to strengthen a community's assets, which include strong, dedicated indivudals.

Prepare communities to act in their own behalf.

Identify the ingredients for successful communty partnerships that effect sustainable change.

Fee: $150/ person. Team discounts available. Fee includes lunch and may be applied to a CWC membership.

New Office Now Open in St. Paul

The Cultural Wellness Center is pleased to announce the opening of our second location in East St. Paul at 965 Payne Ave. on the corner of Payne Ave. and Case St.  We are very excited about our new venture in East St. Paul and growing with the community.  Please keep visiting our site for more details and a listing of classes and events being held in our new space.
